OxygenOS 14 Beta, the upcoming version of OnePlus’ operating system, will start rolling out to OnePlus phones from October. The Chinese company has revealed its plans through its official forum, where it has specified which devices will receive the update and the approximate dates when the beta version can be tested.

In total, 16 OnePlus phones will be able to upgrade to Android 14 through the open beta program of OxygenOS 14. Among the new features of this new version is the “Trinity Engine” motor, which promises significant improvements in system operating smoothness and optimization.

The deployment of the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta will begin in October with devices such as the OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Nord 3 5G, OnePlus 11R, and OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, among others. From November, models such as the OnePlus 10R, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9R, and OnePlus 9RT will follow.

It is important to note that this list refers to the beta version of OxygenOS 14. The stable update to Android 14 will likely take longer to reach devices, possibly by the end of this year or early next year.

On the other hand, it is noteworthy that the OnePlus Nord 2, one of the most prominent mid-range devices in recent years, will not receive the Android 14 update as it has reached the end of its support period. However, the OnePlus 8T will receive the update despite rumors claiming otherwise.

It is expected that OxygenOS 14 will bring significant improvements and new features to OnePlus devices, providing an even more satisfying user experience.
