
Governments, metro operators and leading technology innovators from all over Latin America will meet in Medellin on 26-28 April 2016 to exchange experiences and identify strategies to improve urban transport in the region. With two days of technical and strategies presentations, followed by a site visit to Metro de Medellin, the event will help identify solutions to the challenges facing senior decision makers all over the region.

Modernization and refurbishment works on Line 1 of the Venezuelan capitals metro network have been advancing well, according to Haiman El Troudi, minister of land transport and public works. “There is good progress on rail replacement in Chacaítometro, Caracas. We are working without hold-ups”, El Troudi confirmed, via his official twitter account (@HaimanVZLA).

Based on the successful work of the Frauscher Sensor Technology Brasil Ltda, the international technology leader will attend this year’s Business on Rails which will take place from November, 11 – 13 in Sao Paulo. At this year’s event Frauscher will present its latest innovations under the motto “ready to be connected”.
